My focus for Method 3 was how the media, specifically journalists, portrayed law enforcement in the 48 hours after Michael Brown was fatally shot by police officer Darren Wilson.

Abstract
Amanda-Method 4: Network Analysis
For Method 4, I used a 48 hour time frame from November 24th at 6:00pm to November 26th at 6:00pm. I chose this time frame due to my interest in the initial reactions of Twitter users after the final verdict of Michael Brown’s death was released.

Method 4: Network Mapping
Emily Balter's Method 4: Network Mapping
Question: How does the network map from the week immediately following the shooting of Michael Brown compare to the network map from the first four days immediately following the grand jury decision that Darren Wilson will not be charged?
Method 4 : Network Mapping
In order to complete method four I began with constructing my network. The way I constructed my network was by using terms that related to my final project. The key words I used for sampling were COPS or POLICE or LAW ENFORCEMENT or #BLACKLIVESMATTER.
Iqra's Method 4 network mapping
For my fourth method, I wanted to focus on who were the main influencers in the initially after the Ferguson incident. The date range I choose was from August 7, 2014 to August 31, 2014.
Taylor's Method 4: Network Mapping
My logic for Method 4 stemmed from my research in comparing tweets that contain only text and those that also contain images. Therefore, for this assignment I compared the map of influencers who tweeted using only text versus the map of influencers who also used images in their tweets.
Taylor's Method 3: Content Analysis
When conducting Method 3, I focused on journalist OR report OR reporter OR media, from August 7, 2014 until January 1, 2015.
MacKenzie's Method 4: Network Mapping
For my network mapping, I chose to look at the same sample from the data set which I had viewed in the previous method application.
MacKenzie's Method 3: Content Analysis
For my content analysis assignment, I wanted to get a closer look at the overall sentiment (apart from the smiley faces predetermined by Pulsar) toward the media within our data set.
Alita's Method 4- Network Mapping
Starting methods four my sampling logic focused around continuing to expand my over all research theme about media in relation to time. I used the advanced search settings to limit my data to the week directly following the shooting of Michael Brown (August 9-16).
Iqra's 3rd Method Content Analysis
For my third method, I wanted to focus on the usage of Affective and Objective tweets by tweeters that included both activists and journalists. I wanted to focus on the last week of November in particular to see how the intensity of the tweets changed from the beginning.
Emily Balter's Method 3: Content Analysis
Question: During the week that Michael Brown was killed in Ferguson, how do the tweets written by journalists differ from the tweets written by activists? When filtering in the key words Protestors OR Police OR Media, who is saying what? Which tweets are more affective or objective?

Chyron- Method 3 -Content Analysis
I did my research for method three on the black lives matter movement. For this I used the keywords #BlackLivesMatter, #killercops, and COPS. I wanted to analyze people reaction towards police between the day Mike Brown died and the year anniversary of his death.
