Case 5.9
In this case are the poems that I wrote over the course of the compilation of my exhibition. I was often inspired by what I read, though I do believe that everyone’s experience is unique and that my poems are as individual as I am. At the end of my fellowship, I agree with Alice Gilborn in that there is a definite connection between the people and the land, at least in my case: the Adirondacks are unlike any place I’ve ever been in that they challenge you not to love them, even if you can’t tame them, or be tamed by them yourself.
