Description:
In the early morning hours of October 6, an electrical problem ignited a fire that destroyed the steeple of Gunnison Chapel and caused damage to the bell tower and the back of the church. Quick action by Canton Fire Department personnel, which included several St. Lawrence students, limited the damage.
