Tanzania Component -- Crossing Lake Natron

Ol Doinyo Lengai means (Mountain of God) in Maa, the language of the Maasai community in southern Kenya and northern Tanzania. For many years, students climbed this active volcano in the Great Rift Valley as part of the Tanzanian field component.
