Description:
In her article Wendy Matthews reports on a panel discussion held by students who had spent time in Kenya post 2007 election. She reports that international news should be taken with a grain of salt as it may be misleading and alarming. The panelists suggested that students be more thorough in consuming news through looking at local Kenyan newspapers online and reaching out to friends in Kenya for news.
