Dear Burdick,
Why in hell dont you answer the letters of the Secretary of the “Ottawa Fidelity & Casulty Co!”  If you don’t I will bring this thing before a board of the Directors and we’ll “stake you out and put a paddle across your rear elevation”.

[Sketch of Burdick and a Native American around a fire with the caption
“Burdick and the old man afraid of his ___”]

[Sketch of four men walking with suitcases. Caption reads “Off in a lurch?] Aug. 31--“]
