My dear John: -
The Ingleneuk Indians will pull down their tepee - pack their Travois and pull out Thursday for the summer hunting grounds. They will make their smoke on Ingleneuk Friday when
the sun is so high.  (Sketch of hunting arrow) The dog is going too.
The sun is full in the Heavens here - the leaves are out and the game animals on which we live have gone to the North. Gallagher (sp.) for us.
Tell Al. H. to put shoemakers wax on the seat of his pants and then he can stay on the wagon unless Howard comes up the isle and pulls him off.
If suddenly a blizzard should come on the Esquinoix (sp.) drop down throw me a telegram and we will unpack.

(Sketch with 2 men in a lopsided boat on the river. Caption reads: "One more river - one more river.")
