New Rochelle--Aug 5.--
My Dear Burdick-
Have you got maps -- hired guides, &c.  The hour approacheth when the time draws near.
I am getting my traps together. Have ordered the canoes and paddle &c -- we will get them very cheap!--
We ought to leave New York on Saturday Aug. 31--Take you on at Albany and the boats will be at Rouses Point.
