My dear Bigelow -
I have the solemn compact and will amend it and then subscribe.
- P.B. shall not be too serious and any man shall be allowed to grin when he sees something funny. -
- P.B. shall wait for F.R. long enough for the latter to make a sketch. -
- P.B. shall have the entire charge of the maps. -
- We do not sail a canoe when the sea is running high. I to be the judge as to this
- If we are fired out of Russia P.B. does business elsewhere
I did not get your letter in time to meet you at Players.
I will buy a canoe of Everson - give me his address! Everything seems to be lovely ---
you entirely misunderstood me - I am an easy man to get along with when “on the trail” I’m like Wm.Wolke in the respect that the “planning is hard and the execution easy”
Send me your English address - also full particulars of how to get to Germany - and then I will communicate with you in England and let you know in time to arrange to meet me there. - What line of steamers do I take - write it.
Will see Everson so that our canoes can be shipped under your directions. -
Do I want to do anything in an official way have as regards letters of introductions and &c &c &c-- If I do tell me what. I suppose I need some sort of letters. But we will discuss this –
I can leave my extra baggage in Germany - cameras - six-shooter +c. I suppose.
Yours
Frederic Remington
