Winter Games/ Summer Games

WinterGames segment is set totally in Lake Placid and shows the Olympics as a comedy wheras the SummerGames segment is set totally in Greece where the Games were born and is looked at as a tragedy. The hero of the piece is a gold metal runner and it was written by someone who has worked both for an Olympic Organizing Committee and a national Olympic committee. It is controversial and will spark degate.

Trout Lake: an Adirondack novel

The flooding of Trout Lake in upstate New York reveals the glories and intrigues of living in an Adirondack town. A reclusive billionaire, two frozen-in-time sisters, a manipulative mayor, and a school teacher with a secret are among the eccentric yet touching characters. Subplots include the anonymous bestowing of $100 bills on selective citizens, and various wars between locals and summer residents. At the center of the storm are Henry, a retired lawyer, and his wheelchair-bound wife Sally radiating humor and wisdom. -- back cover.
